Canon announces the 12.8 megapixel full frame digital SLR 5D. About 3000$. Full frame SLRs are dropping down. A couple of more generations and it should be in the 1500$ ballpark. Several more interesting lenses were announced. Best among them the 24-105mm f4 IS USM lens. Sounds good but pricey.

Taken at Providence during the Waterfire festival. Here is a picture gone wild without a tripod. Tired of shooting straight forward shots I just loosened up a little and had some fun. I setup for long exposure and just moved my camera in a circle.

Again, I would never done this if I were shooting slides.

So what is possible with Photoshop? A nice sunny day turned into a foggy morning. More like what I would have liked when I visited.
