Blogger FTP problems

Unfortunately over the last month there have been real problems with using Blogger to publish my blog. It would always fail publishing a post with a Java.CouldNotConnect exception. I just gave up after sending email to both blogger and my Webhost.

But today at last it appears to be working again. Maybe it will last.

I am afraid of the future and the site's interrelationship with Blogger. What if Blogger closes shop? Does my site vanish into thin air? I need to think about this. Maybe a custom blog tool running on my own server would be more reliable in the long run.

Anyway, you should see more frequent updates also since I recently came back from a fabulous vacation to the caribean.

Seriously blogger is great, but their commenting system is a bit screwy lately... have you experienced any problems with it?

Well so far things have been normal. Blogger's FTP problems appear to have been solved.

Commenting system has been ok. But I guess I haven't been doing that many comments.

The probelms are back...I am having the same problem, no respone from Blogger yet.
